Apparently Elliot's an adult now? Ha, that's funny. At the very least, he's finished college and is gallivanting around Japan for a year of "grad school" (defined loosely) before starting work at a Japanese corporation in the fall. He's fluent-ish, or at least enough to get into trouble. He's gangly tall and blonde. He enjoys both natto and umeboshi. He only sings the most shameful of songs at karaoke. He fights blackbelts at judo though he himself is a n00b. He is Eli.

the internet is the secret to all treasure

There are many things I should be doing other than this, the night before the final and with many preparations yet to do for moving out, leaving Osaka behind, and traveling 18 days, mostly on my own.

But hilarious thing- you know the pop-up ads that say you've won an iPod? Or a bunch of money, if you can only answer the question right?

Japanese ones offer the chance to win a GREENCARD to America, if only you can correctly identify the president.

I'm dubrious.
